Grand restoration done at Headingley Castle

A tenant at Headingley Castle in Leeds is thrilled after the completion of various building works in multiple areas throughout his apartment.

Initially, it was one of our alternate clients that recommended us to ‘Hunters’ (Residential Block Management) when they were looking for a qualified business to carry out timber repairs and decorate several bespoke stained glass window frames on the castle. Due to our on-going use and knowledge of the ‘Repair Care’ product, Main-PRO were ideal.

After the works were completed, one of the tenants was so overjoyed with the end product that he requested for further works on his own personal property.

The works involved were wide ranging, but due to the listed building being in the care of one of our well experienced multi-skilled operatives, this was no worry for the occupier.

Works commenced in the apartment’s hallway and top floor kitchen where new flooring was uplifted and re-laid; this was to accommodate a gas pipe for a new boiler installation. Extensive kitchen refurbishments then initiated; including works to the Pantry where the water heater cupboard was converted in to additional storage.

The occupant and Hunters were delighted with the finish as it gave the historic building- which was built between 1843 and 1846- an updated look. We have since had more enquiries for further works from both clients.
